Welcome
The SIGSAM Virtual Seminar was established by the SIGSAM Board to broaden SIGSAM’s activities beyond the annual ISSAC conference and to provide a regular forum for communication within the international symbolic and algebraic computation community.
The seminar series features online talks by both established and emerging researchers working in symbolic and algebraic computation, and related areas. Its aim is to encourage the exchange of new ideas, highlight recent developments, and strengthen connections among researchers across different regions and career stages.
The current plan is to organize three seminars each year, one in the spring, one in the fall, and one in the winter. To better serve SIGSAM’s international community, the seminars will be scheduled in different time zones, with one event arranged at a time convenient for participants in Asia, one for Europe, and one for the Americas.
